The one where Heather meets a new guy

Work has sent me on a 3 day training course: Foundations of Staff Security. Sounds fun right?

The training was arranged by one of our officers, who is also new and has become a good friend (same friend who witnessed Hairy Khan).

This is the text message conversation that transpired between the two of us on Day 1 of training:

U didn't warn me that the trainer would be cute. No evidence of a wedding ring either. Shokran! Will take a few more mins to get ready tomorrow morning!
(Author's note: Shokran is Arabic for 'thank you')

Sometimes a girl needs a surprise! CONCENTRATE ON WHAT HE'S SAYING!

Nevermind...he just asked me out. No need to look fancy tomorrow!

WHAT?... How do you do it woman? You need to give me your secret!

Thank you Work. Though our organizational culture tries desperately to remove all barriers between work and life, I seem to have found a loophole.
