Here is the rather uneventful rundown:
- Alexio stayed for 2 weeks in total. After the accident, he really was ok, but the memorial service for his car will be held soon. We didn't get up to anything much, but it was nice, as always, to have him around. He is now looking at a Masters program at Simon Frasier, to possibly start the fall after my contract is up. I suppose I am considering it also. Please, if you think you can convince me the right thing one way or another, do. It's tough trying to figure out if I can get a salaried position in this industry without a Masters, seeing as they seem to be the "new undergrad" and everyone has them.
- Wedding season is upon you over there in hot and sweaty Canada. Congratulations to Alex & Corey, and Cheryl & Jason. Am checking out photos on facebook and you guys looked great! Wish I could have been there to celebrate with you!
- Our cat is the devil. We can't figure out how to get him to stop biting. He can be so cute and cuddly, then he turns on you. I went out and bought spray bottles and we try to spray him whenever he bites, but we had hoped it would have broken him of the habit way before now.
- Work is ok. Went to visit the gardens in Golomoti last week and they are doing better. Am starting to work on a big proposal in the hopes of getting some resources so I can do the stuff I'm supposed to do to achieve my mandate. It's due on Friday and I'm starting today, but c'est la vie.
- Just got my vacation forms signed! Will be off for 3 weeks visiting Alexio! YAY! August 8-31 is the plan, and if all goes well and we don't have to change the plan, I'll be meeting his family and friends, and visiting all my friends, so should be busy but great.
xoxo

Hi Heather: I have been offline as Glenn built me a better and faster computer.. Had to get your mom to send me the link as I had lost it. Anyway, just checking in.. Retirement is all set for Sept 30th. Time to get out the rocking chair for the porch... Talk soon. Dad PS: have a great vacation!!
Maybe our cats should be friends :)
We missed you at the cocktail party! Kelly was visiting from London, Bianca from Australia, and Caroline from the middle of nowhere, so it was a reunion of sorts. My sister carved that watermelon peacock (I think you saw the pics on Facebook). It was pretty awesome!
Hi Heather:
If a Master's is required, go for it. You can do it! So glad that Alexio was not injured in the accident. Take care.
